This is an opportunity to play a key role on this mega NEXTDC Data Centre project at Horsley Park.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical coordination of construction activities, ensuring seamless integration between design, services, and delivery teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving programme, quality, and compliance outcomes on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design, engineering, and construction activities to ensure buildability and project delivery
- Drive programme outcomes through planning, forecasting, and progress monitoring
- Manage design changes while maintaining cost and budget controls
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Ensure works meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and Building Code of Australia
- Support procurement processes, including subcontract package preparation
- Contribute to site safety planning and uphold OH&S standards
- Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholders
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or similar
- Proven experience in a Project Engineer role within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, design coordination, and project delivery
- Sound commercial and financial acumen
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and regulatory requirements
- Experience across procurement, tendering, and subcontract management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills
